Of Pittsburgh, PA and North Port, FL, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 16, 2026. James proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Nimitz and was honored to serve as a Pittsburgh City Firefighter for 19 years. He retired to Florida 12 years ago and spent quality time with friends boating and going to wing night and bar bingo. He enjoyed many other things such as going to camp, golf trips and watching golf at Downy House with his dad and friends, going floating down the river, Bocce at Legends (where he proudly sported his championship jackets), his Thursday lunches with family, St. Paddy’s Day parades, traveling with friends to Punta Cana and Mexico, watching NASCAR, and his annual Bronder Family Reunions. Jimmy never lost his amazing sense of humor which stayed with him to his last days.
