Age 92, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at The Grand Residence in Upper St. Clair. Born on May 15, 1934, he was the son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Jagiello) Rydzak.  Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Engineers before beginning a long career of service to his community as a Pittsburgh firefighter. He served as Captain of Engine Company No. 4, taking great pride in his commitment to his fellow firefighters and the people of Pittsburgh.  Bob enjoyed playing cards, bowling with parishioners of Our Lady of Loreto, and traveling with their large and treasured group of friends. He had a genuine appreciation for life and especially enjoyed making memories with those closest to him.
