Age 84, of the South Side, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2026. Beloved husband for 66 years to Nancy Rush. Dear father of Paul A. (Jeannette) Rush and Cynthia Prilla. Son of the late George and Mary. Grandfather of Michael (Stormie) Rush, Jennifer (Yvain) Schaffnit, Hunter Prilla, Mackenzie Prilla and James Mros. Great-grandfather of Sienna, Alek, Grant and Jayden. Brother of Edward (Cheryle) Gleason and the late Charles Rush and Donna Ross. Special niece Tammy (Tony) Lollo and many other loving nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-8 PM at Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, 2323 E. Carson St. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
