A proud Army veteran, Donald served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, where he developed a lifelong commitment to duty and teamwork. Following his military service, he dedicated 38 years to the Pittsburgh Fire Department, rising to the rank of Captain. His exemplary leadership and bravery in the face of danger earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and the community he served. Donald was not only a firefighter but also a man of many passions. He cherished the great outdoors and found joy in hunting and fishing.
