Eugene L. “Bo” Thomas, age 95, of Ridgecrest of McCandless, formerly of New Castle and Sheraden, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. Bo was appointed to the City of Pittsburgh Fire Department on June 16, 1956, retiring on July 31, 1995, as Deputy Chief. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the US Navy from January 1948 through December 1951. Bo enjoyed many years of walking, playing tennis, round dancing and traveling. He was an avid reader and followed tennis tournaments and baseball games.
