Age 109, of Windermere, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on April 16, 2022. Frederick proudly served for 49 years for the City of Pittsburgh, retiring at age 70, as the Deputy Chief. He served until recently, as a board member, for the Pittsburgh Firefighters Federal Credit Union. A World War II veteran, he was initially assigned to the 640-7th Tank Destroyer Unit, and, finally in Germany as a field artillery mechanic.
