ANSELM JOHN G. Age 84, formerly of Sheraden, went to meet the Lord on Saturday, August 19, 2017.  John served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a City of Pittsburgh Firefighter for 34 years. He was a past Commander of the V.F.W Post 418, was involved at The Pulaski Club in the West End. John enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys. He loved to go to ballgames to watch his grandkids play. He also loved to bowl. John served as a lector for many years at Holy Innocents Parish.  Interment will be in The National Cemetery of Alleghenies with full military honors.
