Age 65 of Pittsburgh, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, after a short illness with Covid 19 passed.  Mike retired as Deputy Chief with the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. He was a firefighter for 41 years, spending 17 years as Deputy Chief. Mike was considered a passionate, tireless, and dedicated Chief that was highly conscientious and caring for his fellow firefighters as family. One of Mike’s passions was sailing on his sail boat at Lake Erie where he found solace and relaxation.
