Age 38, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed peacefully in the arms of his wife, surrounded by family on Saturday, August 19, 2023, after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.

Randy grew up in Hazelwood, PA and graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in 2002. He attended The Pittsburgh Fire Training Academy and began his career for the City of Pittsburgh as a Firefighter in June of 2007. He had a successful career and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2022. Proud doesn’t even begin to describe his feeling of being a part of this IAFF – Local 1 Brotherhood.

Randy volunteered for many years as a football coach for the Brentwood Dukes Youth Football program. He played ice hockey in several leagues, including the City of Pittsburgh Firefighters team, and was a season ticketholder for the Pittsburgh Penguins for many years.
