Thomas J. Kane, 93, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 27, 1932, A man of honor and resilience, he served his country with distinction as a United State Marine during the Korean Conflict. Upon his return to civilian life, he transitioned from the front lines to serving his local community, beginning a storied career with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire. He rose to the rank of Captain, Thomas “Killer” Kane embodied the values of bravery, discipline, and “Semper Fi”-loyalty that he extended most fiercely to his family.
